These Two Nomada Restaurants Just Won OpenTable Diner’s Choice Awards

And the Winners are… Norman at Skyview and River Lodge’s Ciao Papi

Every year, OpenTable’s Diners’ Choice program recognizes outstanding restaurants based on verified reviews from guests who have dined at an establishment after making a reservation through the platform. To qualify, restaurants must meet a minimum threshold of reviews and have an overall rating of 4 or more stars to be eligible for a Diners’ Choice Award. Restaurants are ranked based on their average star rating within each of the following categories: Best Overall, Best Service, Best Ambiance, Best Food, and Best Value. So, how do Norman and Ciao Papi stack up?

NORMAN ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪

  • Overall Rating: 4.5

  • Food: 4.3

  • Service: 4.5

  • Ambiance: 4.6

  • Value: 4.2

CIAO PAPI ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪

  • Overall Rating: 4.3

  • Food: 4.2

  • Service: 4.3

  • Ambiance: 4.7

  • Value: 4.1

*A restaurant's Overall Rating is a continuous score based on reservations for the past 120 days, while the Diners' Choice awards reflect the 120 days leading up to the day the awards are decided. Because of this slight difference, the Diners' Choice Awards rating won't always be the same as the restaurant's current rating on opentable.com.

What Diners are Saying…

NORMAN

“Norman’s has it goin’ on! What a great vibe upon walking in…..and the splendor carried all the way through dinner and cocktails! What a jewel up on the hill!”

“The food was amazing! Very dog friendly. Quiet atmosphere, love the decor. We had the hanger steak and it was the best steak I have ever had. We literally talked about it the rest of our trip.”

CIAO PAPI

“Thank you to all the service staff who made our dining experience a wonderful memory… Our waitress was very accommodating. The food and some of the drinks were new flavors and a nice thing to share between people who knew each other well and had shared many meals. We all loved the outdoor ambiance.”

“Terrific spot next to the pool at a renovated motel, just off the 101. Small menu, superbly executed, with a good price point for the Wine Country. [Ciao Papi’s] Cacio y Pepi was delicious. Highly recommend.”
